Our garden trellises measure 180cm x 30cm (6ft x 1ft) — slim decorative panels that are used individually as accents or in groups of three to fill a standard 90cm fence bay.
What Are Trellises Used For?
Trellises are one of the most versatile products in our range. The most popular use is fence topping — adding an extra 30cm of height and decorative detail to the top of an existing fence. Three trellises sit perfectly across a standard 6ft fence panel. Other popular uses: lining the back of raised planters, creating a narrow feature strip on a garden wall, framing a pergola or gazebo, and adding decorative interest inside a room as narrow feature panels.
Can Trellises Support Climbing Plants?
Yes — our WPC trellises can support lightweight climbing plants such as clematis, roses and jasmine when the plant is trained on wires or ties. The composite material won't rot with moisture from soil or plant matter, unlike timber trellises which deteriorate quickly in contact with growing media.
Mixing Trellises with Screens
Trellises are available in the same patterns as our large and medium screens — Moucharabiya, Alhambra, Kerplunk, Verdure, Frond and more — in black, dove grey and cream. Combine a trellis pattern with matching screens for a coordinated look, or mix patterns for a layered effect. The same colour across different patterns always works beautifully.
