About Our Decorative Garden Screens
Screen With Envy has been the UK's leading supplier of decorative garden screens since 2017, with over 1,000,000 panels delivered to homeowners, landscapers and designers across the country.
What Are Decorative Garden Screens?
Decorative garden screens are panels made from WPC (wood plastic composite), metal or other materials that combine privacy with design. Unlike plain timber fencing, decorative screens feature geometric, botanical or abstract cutout patterns — so they create privacy while still letting light and air through. They work as standalone garden features, privacy dividers, hot tub screens, balcony panels and feature walls both indoors and out.
5mm vs 16mm Screens — Which Do I Need?
Our 5mm screens are flexible panels designed for cladding flat against an existing fence, wall or timber frame. They're lightweight, easy to install with screws or adhesive, and transform a plain fence in minutes. Our 16mm screens are structural, rigid panels that slot into our aluminium post system — fully freestanding with no existing fence required. If you have a fence: 5mm. If you're starting from scratch: 16mm.
Maintenance-Free for Life
Every screen in our range is made from WPC composite — a blend of recycled wood fibre and recycled plastic that requires zero maintenance. No painting, treating or sealing. Ever. UV-stabilised to resist fading and fully weatherproof for the UK climate. Most customers install our screens on a weekend and genuinely never think about them again.
Which Pattern Should I Choose?
Our most popular patterns are Moucharabiya (intricate geometric, inspired by Arabic latticework), Alhambra (circular star pattern from the Alhambra Palace), Kerplunk (bold angular modern design) and Verdure (organic leaf design). All are available in black, dove grey and cream. If in doubt, black is the most popular choice — it works with almost any garden style and photography beautifully.
