Fencing Base Plate - Basalt Grey

What is it used for?

This base plate allows you to surface-mount compatible posts instead of setting them into concrete, making it ideal for patios, terraces, hard landscaping, and interior installations.

The matching cover cap neatly conceals fixings, ensuring a polished, professional finish from every angle.

Please note:
Each post has threaded holes on one end only for use with the base plate.
If required, cut the opposite (non-threaded) end of the post before installation.

Installation – important guidance

To ensure correct alignment and an easy screen fit, packer placement is essential.

Before fully tightening the base plate:

1. Insert the packer into the slot on the post

2. Slide the packer fully down to the bottom of the post

3. Only then fully tighten the base plate

⚠️ If the base plate is tightened without the packer in place, the slot gap may narrow, making the packers difficult to insert at the base of the post.
